This is a project that I did where I collaborated with a group of designers and a graduate student from China. This project included making a prototype and advertisements for an app called "tyro.". The reason for using the word tyro as the name is because the word means "beginner or novice" which aligns very well with the purpose of the app. The purpose of the app is for foreign exchange students to adapt to the city of Atlanta. Which leads to why there is a ferris wheel in the logo, the reason is because of the sky view wheel that gives people an amazing view of Atlanta which is what we would want the app to do as well. The app includes features such as being able to view items such as featured concerts and food and being able to connect with other people in the same situation. There is also a interest tag system that helps facilitating information that the user is interested in.
